SGT Corey Kent Home Dedication

TAYLOR CARPET ONE FLOOR & HOME HELPS WELCOME SGT. COREY KENT HOME.

Purple Heart recipient, Sgt. Corey Kent (ret.) suffered the loss of both legs and all of the fingers on his left hand as the result of an IED explosion in Afghanistan in 2010.

After such bravery and sacrifice for his country, it is fitting that Sgt. Kent and his wife Brandy were welcomed to their new smart home this weekend, with a ceremony honoring the 15th anniversary of September 11th.

SGT Corey Kent Home Dedication

The smart home was built in Kent’s hometown of Cape Coral, FL and was completed with the help of many generous participants including Taylor Carpet One Floor & Home, who is honored to have donated all of the flooring installation throughout the home for the injured veteran.

The smart home is equipped with high-tech features that will provide Kent the independence to complete the day-to-day functions for himself that many of us take for granted.

This home was completed as part of the Building for America's Bravest Program. For more information, or to get involved, go to ourbravest.org
